A/C compressor not kicking on

Hey guys so my AC stopped blowing cold, found out the compressor is not kicking in, is there a way to check if it could be something else besides the compressor itself ?

thats what I thought too, but cant figure out where, I found some that I think one of them could be it, but couldnt find a diagram anywhere online, and theres like 3-4 next to each other that look exactly the same

Its weird because it happened randomly, working perfectly then suddenly stopped working

There's a relay and also a fuse controlling the AC Compressor. One (or both) might be the problem. You might also not have a sufficient refrigerant charge in the system; or the refrigerant pressure sensor may have gone south. The G is a pretty sophisticated car with most of its features controlled by one or more CPU's; and it has dozens of sensors. Id suggest consulting the HAC chapter of your vehicles service manual. It contains schematics, logic flows, function tests and resolutions for the entire system.

checked everything and nothing, randomly the AC started to work perfectly ....
so I guess its a sign that the compressor might go soon, at least gives me a chance to save up for it

Mine does the same thing. Some super hot days I will get no cold air. Ill fiddle with the *****, turn on and off the climate control, turn on and off the defrosters and randomly the cold air will kick back on. In my case it seems to be the relay or climate control unit itself with faulty electronics in the face.

I'm having the same issue. Have you seen any resolution to this?
