Help with brakes!!!

This is a picture of the problem I'm having. I'm trying to replace the front brakes and usually it's 2 bolts one at the top and one at the bottom, that you would undo so you can take the brake pads off. Now I did the back with no problem. When I go to do the front it's only one bolt and at the bottom where the other bolt would be it's some type of rubber piece. How do I replace the brakes with that type of set up?Help with brakes!!!-photo989.jpg

I moved this tread to the tech questions thread so people should see it better. I have also deleted your duplicate thread that was put in the "site feed back" section.

Anyways that looks like a slide pin....part number 41134-JK00A if it helps, looks like theres a hex key for it (not sure if its under the rubber boot or the other side) and it unscrews...kind of like a combination slide pin and bolt....I guess they make it like that at the bottom as you don't really need to take the whole thing off to just change pads (I think).... if you take the top bolt off you might be able to pull the other part of the caliper back and use the bottom pin as a kind of hinge, pop the pads out push back the pistons and pop your new pads back in and close the "hinge"...

Pop cap off that boot. 6mm hex. Unbolt it. Brakes are off assuming the top bolt is off. As hash said.

Love it. Like, every other thread I read has something useful in it. Now, the other other thread is full of comments like what I just posted...
