Hey guys, I've got a squeaking sound that my car makes narrowed down to the alternator or tensioner pulley.

Do you have to replace the entire alternator to replace the pulley? What about the tensioner, do you have to replace the entire tensioner just to change the pulley?

The alternator issue isn't the pulley, it's the shaft bearing. Same with the tensioner. The pulleys themselves should last a thousand years in service.
