Seatbelt SRS wiring
My drivers side seatbelt SRS wiring harness was cut when the seatbelt discharged. I bought a new seatbelt and a harness plug but both wires are yellow and cut at the same length. Does polarity matter? What would happen if the wires are reversed? It probably doesn't matter but figured id ask or if someone knows a way to test the wire.
i checked through the manual but couldn't find a schematic of the SRS seatbelt system. Am i just missing it?

Hi Slartibartfast,
Thanks for the response but I already checked the manual and I still have no way of figuring out which side is which unless I can safely ohm the wires which may set an airbag off and tracing a wire from the rear quarter panel to the engine bay wouldn't be worth the hassle.
What I need to know is if polarity matters on these wires. If swapping them is it ok or not. If it just throws a code that's fine or if there is a better way to test them.

Since the wires are the same color that would indicate that it's simply a resistive pyro load and polarity shouldn't matter. I'm not an expert though so be sure to run the diagnostic routine once you get it all back together. Below are a couple useful details pulled from deep within the SRC manual for your '09 coupe...

I was confused because I was looking at the pre-crash seat belt connector's wiring diagram on SBC-27 not the pre-tensioner connector. The picture on SB-6 confused me but I see where my mistake was now.
I went back through and couldn't find the page with the 2 last pictures you uploaded but that was all I needed to see anyways. Thank you, that was a big help!
