had similar problem with my old 06 350Z, didnt except this will happen to the G too...looks like the small parts arent better quality with the Infiniti badge than Nissan

Long story short, just realized my driver side window wont go up all the way with just 1 touch (i.e when i pull the button up the "1st level" it will go up while i hold it, but when i pull the button all the way, it used to go up all the day even i didnt hold it, but it wont response now)


did couple check:

1). go down function works (both 1 touch or holding)
2). go up would only if i hold it
3). wont response if i pull the button up all the way and release
4). if i have the drive side door open, the window will not go up at all (both 1 touch or holding the button up
5). i had the key on the door lock, the windows used to go all the way up/down if i turn it to the left/right and hold it, it will now only go down, but not to up (passenger seat work, just the driver side door)
and the worst:
6). when i open the door and leave the car, the window would automatically goes down half an inch, it used to go back up and fully shut it when i close the door, but now it wont. so i had to left the car parked as is (and putting the key in the door lock and left wont help as stated in 5))

anyone experienced this?
is it the windows motor again? how much to get it fixed?
by any chance it would be covered under warrenty?
