What percent tint do you have?

I am getting my 5 percent tint stripped tomorrow for inspection sticker/state reasons and I think after 5 years it's becoming more of a problem driving around and sort of sick of dealing with cops even though iv'e never gotten a ticket for the tint. Just curious, what percent do you have on your car? Legal percent is 35 here and can't decide if I should go 20 or 35 percent

Legal here is 35%. I have 38%. The ceramic tint I have blocks about 95% UV regardless of % of light let in. I have Air Blue on the front which is clear with a touch of blue. It has about the same % UV rejection as the ceramic.

I got it to preserve my interior and family (yes, in that order ) more than for aesthetics. Though it does look nice slightly dark.

Legal in Indiana is 35%, but I was able to do 20% due to health concerns. 20% is nice aesthetically. But, I wish we had done 35% so our night vision wasn't as hindered.

Legal in Virginia is 50% (sucks!) for the front and I have 35% on all except windshield. Got a ticket once out of my 3 years of owning my G.

i can't decide if i want to go 20 or 35 percent. If i do 20 i won't pass inspection unless i find someone who passes me and throw them a couple extra dollars. I don't think it would be to hard to find but on the other hand can you really tell a difference between 20 and 35 percent?

Legal in NYC is 70% I think.

My interior is black so I got 50%. It's dark enough at night but can still see people inside during day time.

I might remove them and get 35%, not sure though. Not a huge fan of crazy tints.

Am I the only one tired of tint threads, with those who say they’ve never been pulled over and those who have? It seems we’ve had a million posts on this subject.

Let’s move on topics that are never discussed, such as what octane is best, manual versus auto trannys, or sedans versus coupes.
