I have the elite Warranty and paid $1350 for the $100 detectable plan for 6 years and 112k miles and have had it about 10 months now. The other week my rear driver side brake caliper seized on me. Took it to the dealership and they gave me a new caliper and brake rotor under warranty. If I didn't have the warranty the bill would have been about $650 with parts and labor. (labor rate at the dealerships in the north east are between $150 and $175 so it adds up quick.) So another issue like this and I will have made most of my money back from the price of the warranty. So depending what you pay for the warranty you can make your money back with a couple small issues like seized calipers.
