aftermarket clutches have much shorter lifespans than the OEM option due to their harsh engagement.
As a rule of thumb, more clamping force is more difficult to control and thus harsher engagement, leading to more wear per engagement. (but you knew that already
)
Just enjoy it. The way I see it, the quicker a part wears out, the sooner you can justify upgrading or trying something new. If I baby the part, I won't be getting full enjoyment of my investment and that's even worse
