Windshield washer pump not working

I need help - a few months back my windshield washer pump stopped working on my 2008 G37 coupe. I found that the Injen intake had worn through the wires, so I put a new lead on to replace the bad wires. No luck. Found the fuse by the battery blown, replaced that, still nothing. The pump works fine, and the fuse should be good now. Is there a fusible link or relay somewhere else that could have shorted out?

Do you hear it running, just no fluid?

After I upgraded lights, I reinstalled the fender splash guard and it pinched the fluid hose between it and something else back there. Drove me nuts until I crawled back under there, removed it, and laughed at how easy but stupid the problem was.

Good luck.

Hi there,
This may be a stupid question but I can't find the washer pump fuse location on my 09 G37s convert. I've looked inside below steering wheel, nothing. close to battery, there's an empty space where that fuse should be? Any help/direction will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

For your 2010 sedan it should be fuse #47 on the IPDM.

Brown Plug

Hi! I'm trying to repair a car my son wrecked and I have a cord that comes off from where the brown plug is but the guy who towed it, ripped it from something. I'm guess the reservoir. I'm not sure what goes on the end of it or where it goes. Does your brown plug have another cord leading off of the wire?
I plugged up the pump (below the wires I'm holding) I do not have the reservoir yet and I know the brown plugs into the bottom of it...where does the cord to the left of the brown plug go? Or what does it go to? Thanks

Don't know what year your car is but is it possible that's from the front fog lamp? "Connector E20" (2013 sedan) seems to be part of that harness in the area below the washer tank... Just a guess.

On my son's CRV, the rear window pump stopped working and I had assumed it needed to be replaced. My mechanic fished out some crud from the supply line and got it working again. May give this a shot?

I honestly don't know if mine even works as I never use because it sprays solvent all over the car and makes a giant mess. I should probably check this one day prior to washing the car.

That's what I was thinking as well, but doesn't the windshield washer reservoir have a sensor on it as well to detect low fluid? It's in that same vicinity.

As he mentioned below his posted photo, the brown plug is probably for that low fluid sensor which is at the bottom of the reservoir. But it's hard to tell what that extra wire is.
Sounds like he's repairing some frontend damage which may have involved that corner of the car.
