so I have an 09 g37 coupe but lately I am hearing a rattling noise coming from the middle of the car. the rattling noise only happens when i have the A/C on and when i accelerate, i have noooooo clue what this is. any ideas?

 

What rpm band does the rattle last? Like is it from idle to 1500, 1700 rpm or more?

 

hardly any RPM at all. the noise seems to go away when i turn off the AC and its only the AC not when i have the heat on

 

Sounds like a compressor clutch issue if it's only happening with the ac on. Does the ac actually blow cold air?

 

yes it does blow cold air. All this is very odd, sorry i am not car savvy.
