Help please, car wont start after new battery!

Hi guys,

I have a 2007 Infiniti g37 that has been at a body shop for 3-4 months. Just recently i picked it up and before taking it the guys mentioned to change the battery since it was practically dead. I drove it home, replaced the battery with a new one and the next day it would not start. The key also does not lock or unlock the car, windows dont roll down either. the ignition turns on but the car will not crank at all. Any ideas what it could be? I checked fuses by driver foot area, anything else i should be looking for?

thanks in advance.

Sounds like your body shop knows that the car has a short somewhere drawing on the battery. They probably had the car on a charger just before you came to pick it up. Electrical issues are frustrating. Hope you can get it resolved.

Since you have a 2007, have you tried replacing the battery in the remote?
