Oxygen Sensor Light

Hello guys, I would appreciate you input on this. Anyways, I have the check engine light coming on for the two upstream oxygen sensors and I have them and I am ready to switch them out but when the mechanic came, he saw it and said because I have an aftermarket cold air intake that the sensor will never go away. I wanna know if this is true or not and if there is anyway that I can adjust the computer to the aftermarket intake so I can get the sensor to go away. I looked around and saw lots of O2 sensor questions but none like this.

First off what is the code/codes?

To the best of my knowledge as long as you aren't taking in unmetered air after the MAFs then it shouldn't mater. Check your fittings and maybe take this time to clean your MAFs
