Been a G Owner for a bit over a month now....I noticed that there is alot of wind and road noise....Is this common with the Coupes?

 

I have noticed some wind noise on my coupe, by the driver window when I'm going around 55+

 

appreciate the response, just trying to find out if this is normal with the car....It was pretty annoying...had to turn the radio on

 

Depends on what kind of cars you have driven. The G is not as noisy as many others cars I have been in.

Another way to reduce a lot of noise is not install crappy tires.

 

it has potenzas on it.......it sounds more like the windows are open rather than road noise

 

My ’08 coupe is as quiet as a mouse peeing on a cotton ball.

 

I have the same window "air rushing in" type noise, and I think a lot of others do too. I tried to get a new seal put around the window as well as taking it to a dealer and they didn't fix it.

 

I called infiniti to ask about it...the service guy said "its a matter of the individuals perception of how much noise"...which tells me that it is common. He said to come by and they will take a test drive to let me know if it is normal...After i do that i will give my feedback

 

hmmm....Its not quiet in the least....its almost like riding with the windows partially open. I thought prior to purchasing the car that it would be that quiet.....Does anyone have a rattle when making a right turn? sounding like it coming from the seat?

This used car thing is not for me.....The car is great but its been a few things that have made me not fully happy with the purchase.

 

Just purchased a 2010 coupe and I hear the same exact thing. Sounds like the window is cracked just a little when it isn;t.

 

Although with a bit tongue and cheek, my mouse comment was to say that my early ’08 is quite quiet after more than six years, and your wind noise problem can be remedied.

 

It might be the window seals. Check if they are dried out or anything.

 

Im going to go buy the dealer and see whats up....I will let you know what they say

 

anyone have input on the rattle noise when making a right turn?

 

Could it be the passenger seatbelt is between the seat and the pillar? That happens to me sometimes when my daughter moves the front seat forward for more room.
