the aluminum foil is definitely a handy tool. been using it for many, many years in the same application on very different cars/trucks. and it's cheap as s**t !!!
hopefully others will follow suit ???

 

Anyone try Form-A-Funnel? Trying to locate it locally but wanted to see if anyone has tried one before. Not cheap but looks useful.

 

Thats the funnel I was referring to that I couldnt find locally and didnt want to wait to show up before I changed my oil.

I was told most NAPA stores carry them, but the 2 or 3 near me did not and had no idea what I was talking about when I asked. You might want to check NAPA if you have any local to you.

 

Just take the plastic cover off, that's what I do and there's no mess. Also gives you an opportunity to inspect under the engine.
