clutch problem

Ok so just today my clutch is literally stuck to the floor and to get it back up i gotta lift it back up and now it wont even let me engage or disengage at all like i cant even put it into gear. Could it be a simple bleed the clutch? or am i looking at a 2000-3000+ clutch repair

My fluid use to drop also. That cause the clutch to stick to the floor and it turned out to be a leaking slave cylinder. Changed under warranty

Slave cylinder failure is usually to blame.

If you have warranty left I'd pursue that route. If not, go somewhere else.

If you are still under warranty, have them figure it iut and fix it.

If not, rule out the easy stuff first. What does the fluid in your reservoir look like (color, particulates)? Have you tried flushing and bleeding the system first? If that doesn't work I'd consider slave cylinder next. If you're replacing it you might as well replace it with the heavy duty Zspeed one. Depending on your mileage and driving style consider replacing the clutch and/or flywheel while the transmission is dropped to save some labor costs vs doing it later.

Yeah I haven't bled the clutch yet since I can't get my car into the garage to jack it up and its too cold to work on the car outside. Im really hoping bleeding the brakes does the trick, I really hate the idea of paying 2000-3000+ for a new clutch, flywheel and slave cylinder. BTW thanks for the feedback I really appreciate it.

Just had the same issue. Clutch falls halfway to the floor and all the action is near the floor. Awesome!

Anyone know if the clutch fluid is special? Just regular stuff?

I got same problem. Two days before warranty expired I went to a dealer to extended it. Same day I did tune up and engine flush (59k). Next day my clutch dropped down while driving. First it dropped half way, so i lifted up with my leg and kept on driving. Few minutes later it dropped down completely. At this point i could not change gears. It was Friday night and the car was in the middle of intersection. I pushed it to the side, pulled the clutch back and disconnected battery for 20 min. When i put battery back, pushing clutch hard all the way down and I got it in reverse. I reset the clutch. I was able to shift (clutch was still half way down if i pulled it up could not shift). I called dealer early Sat. morning to tow it. Sat. they said that they are working on it. Mon. I called dealer and they didn't even know which car I'm talking about. Later the guy tells me that it is cylinder fault and they will have the part Tuesday and i will be able to pick it up. Again i didn't hear from them. After an hour of waiting on the phone, guy tells me that technicians are looking for a problem wtf. Now he says that rings are broken. I think they had to messed up the flush or fluids, like put dense oil or forgot about putting piece that they took out. Anyways gotta go to them tomorrow because this is madness.

Damn that's messed, why would they ever recommend an engine flush at such low miles/kms, i mean unless you forgot to change your oil for like 1 year or have sludge problems they shouldn't have really recommended such a thing, but anyway i hope all is well soon and you get your car back without any problems.
