Anybody make charcoal cabin filters?

Does anybody make charcoal cabin filters for the G? The stock ones that come on the car suck at filtering out smells - e.g. driving in rush hour traffic stuck behind an old car burning oil, etc.

I never would have noticed but my previous car had a charcoal cabin filter and the difference is huge.

You can get the charcoal ones from the dealership. OEM ones come in both regular and charcoal types. The charcoal ones are pretty expensive though.

Check out this DIY to remove glovebox. Scroll down to post #56 by Black Betty. He has a link for a place to buy the charcoal filters from. I bought the brand called NPN charcoal filter and its worked like a charm. No bad odors at all anymore! Hope this helps you!
