Lock light

I just noticed that the unlock button on the driver side does not light up. The lock, side mirror, and window buttons all light up. I never noticed if it ever lit up. I have a 2011 which I got less than 2 months ago. Is it suppose to light up?

pretty sure on both sides unlock button does not light up. atleast it does not in my car
