My 2010 started making the same noise on shutdown as well just in the last couple weeks, but not every time.

I chalked it up to cold weather, but I'm glad to know i'm not alone.

The noise bugs though.

I know you said you thought it was the throttle body, I really think mine is the fan motor. The sound is much louder at the fan motor than anywhere else. Are you all sure it's the throttle body and not a possible batch of defective fan motors?

Thanks!
Yes, I'm sure the noise is from the throttle body. My friend (my trusted mechanic) confirmed this and I could actually hear the noise from the throttle body.

squeaking noise when turn off engine : Infiniti EX35 / EX37 and QX50 Forum

My Infiniti dealer is 100 miles away. Selling mine because I don't want to go 100 miles for this kind of crap.

Common sense can easily chalk up the noise to be the radiator fan assembly. There's no reason for a throttle body to be opening and closing like that upon shutting down the engine. The fact that the engine and other functions stop and the fans are still spinning is another dead giveaway as well.

ALSO, I am experience the same noise on my G. I'll take it to the dealer to confirm the noise is coming from the radiator fan assembly.

Just unplug the fan start the car and shut down the car. Your noise will probably be gone. Don't forget to plug it back in. If the noise continues it is not the radiator fan.

If the fan has its own fuse, pull that (I don't have the diagram handy- it may not have it's own fuse).

bearing noise from electric fan motor

the squeek noise is coming from a worn bearing from either your condenser fan or radiator fan motor. in the video i can clearly see your a/c compressor clutch engaged and turning when car was on and when shut down belt stops and squeek noise is heard as the cooling fans slow and stops the pitch of the noise can be heard distinctly.

as to the noise from the throttle actuator, that is a normal, and it's a clicking type noise as the pcm actuates the throttle plate to set base value.

HappyG,

Did you ever definitively figure out what was causing the noise?

Electric radiator fan squealing

I have a 2012 G37X with approximate 77,000 miles and I’m experiencing when turning off the engine that the radiator fan is squealing. I was actually able To see this occur. Is there anyway to lubricate the electric fan motor ?
