For those who dont live near an Infiniti dealership, will Nissan fix warranty repairs?

look in the warranty booklet. I think few Nissan dealers are authorized to fix Infiniti cars too. Better check with the dealership.

OBTAINING WARRANTY SERVICE
• You must take the vehicle to an authorized Infiniti
dealer in the United States or Canada during regular
business hours at your expense in order to
obtain warranty service. The names and addresses
of authorized Infiniti dealers are listed in telephone
directories.
In case of an emergency, when an authorized
Infiniti dealer is not reasonably available, warranty
repairs may be performed at any service facility or
by the owner using any replacement parts. Infiniti
will reimburse you for such repairs, including diagnosis,
up to the amount of Infiniti’s suggested
retail price for parts and labor charges based on
Infiniti’s recommended time allowance for the warranty
repair and the geographically appropriate
hourly labor rate. A part not being available or a
repair not being complete within 30 days also constitutes
an emergency. You must take the replaced
part and paid receipts to an authorized Infiniti
dealer for repayment in such emergency situations.

No they won’t because they cannot get reimbursed for it.

Barring an emergency as previously mentioned, and although you may have to travel an extra distance to an Infiniti dealership, in the long run you’re better off. A Nissan dealership may not have those parts unique to Infiniti autos, their mechanics may not be familiar with Infinitis (not having worked on them before), and they are not privy to Infiniti TSB’s or recall notices.

My car was serviced at a Nissan dealership since the first owner lives in a small town. The service history shows up in Infiniti's system and on the carfax report. I think they will do it if it's a minor work. It's still a Nissan car after all.

They wouldn't change the oil!? That's crazy, considering you've got the exact same engine as a Z. Never heard of a dealership actually turning down your money.

My local Nissan dealer does everything (at significantly lower cost than Infiniti) except warranty work. For example ester oil change plus all the inspections and fluids (and free coffee and donuts) is $74.

That doesn't seem bad at all. I think an ester oil change at my dealership is $100...and there are no coffee and donuts
