Hi All, I don't want to be stupid to ask this type of question,
I did my research and figured out that Dripping / ticking sound under the engine is normal when the engine is OFF. However, I do hear the dripping / ticking sound even when the engine is on. Could any one of you please tell me if it is normal?

 

I've never heard of the dripping sound...unless you are talking about the valve tick, in which case there is a TSB for it and the dealer should fix it no problem

 

Thanks for the reply! The dripping sound is a random dripping sound that can be heard from many cars when the engine is off.

 

yeah I know the sound your talking about, I've just never heard it when the engine is on...but check out the TSB and/or ask the dealer about it
