New wheels - should I do this?

New wheels should be here next week. I was thinking... (rare)

When I had my Z, my biggest pet peve was all the brake dust and tar inside the wheel. Because of the rough surface, it was very hard to clean, hard enough for me to take the wheels off and wash them that way.

My question is, has anyone tried spraying a few coats of clear on the inside of the wheels to make it easier to clean? I figure it will "fill in" a lot of the roughness and stuff like tar and dust would pretty much wipe right off...

Let me know your thoughts...

I've never thought of spraying clear on the inside portion of the wheel.
What I have done is polished and waxed them and just got under there and
washed them with each car wash...
