suspension questions....

is there any easier way to take out the front suspension rather then pushing rotor down hard enough to pull them out?

I remember it took me forever to get my front suspension out I don't know what I was doing wrong ...

any suggestion?

are you talking about taking out just the springs, or the whole suspension. Because you said "front suspension"

I don't know how you didn't decapitate yourself. You always compress the springs before removing them, at least the fronts. There is a lot of energy in those compressed springs. What are you installing?

Guys im pretty sure hes talking about taking the front suspension out of the car, not taking the springs off the struts.

Did you unbolt the black bracket that holds the bottom of the strut? Then you pull the end link out from the strut.

After that and the top 3 nuts it should just come right out. You shouldnt have to push the rotor/A arm down at all

yeah I took the bracket off and took the bolt on bottom suspension bolt

but it was impossible to remove the front suspension (spring and strut together)

hmm so
1: take the wheels off
2: lose the bolts on tower
3: take the 4 bolts on the bottom part of the suspension
4: compress the spring while its mounted
5: take out the whole suspension

?

I looked at some of the DIY (not for G) but i didnt see people compress their spring before taking it out...

Im confused ..

I miss understood you earlier. Do not compress the srping before you take the entire setup out.

would it make things easier if i loosen the three bolts on top of the tower? i tried doing the 4 bolts at the bottom but those bastards wouldnt move. going to see later how much its going to be to install springs for the front.
