VLEDs H1 conversion installation
Does anyone know if the v-led h1 conversion kit is "direct plug and play" as well?
I want a real plug and play kit because I DO NOT want to cut any of the stock wires or risk humidity in my headlights.

I just got my V-LEDS H1 conversion kit that is supposed to be direct plug and play, but I attempted to install them today with little success. There is no way to get all the wires in and close the cap. Has anyone used this kit and is there an easier way to do this that I am missing?

You are replacing the headlights and can't get the cap closed?! That seems very odd...I know for some of the fog light HID conversion kits you have to leave the cap off but I've never heard about that happening on the headlights...anyways I leave the cap open on my fogs and have had no problems at all, so I would assume (take that as you will) that it would be ok

I am talking about leaving the cap off for my fog lights. I don't want humidity to get in my headlights because I got HID fogs. I live in Florida and it rains a lot here and is pretty darn humid too. Would this be a problem, or should I just leave the wires hanging all over the place?

Thanks for the move.
My problem is that I dont want to cut any wires and dont want condensation in my headlights because I live in Florida. I rather not leave the cap open becuase I dont want to risk ruining anything. Has anyone else installed thes themselves?

I have some V-LED H1s on order and hope to do the install over the Xmas break; I'll post it up with pics.
Are you sure all the wires are supposed to go on the inside? It may seem obvious but the ballast goes outside the light fixture. I understand you have to drill a hole and insert a rubber grommet and the rest is plug-n-play. The excess wire should be left outside the grommet unless I'm missing something.
More details?

Finished the install and just left the cap off for now. These are very easy to work with, just not vehichle specific obviously. Somone on here said that they didnt do any drilling tho, and I'm still wondering how they did it. I think that I am going to custom fabricate my own cap so that no condensation or water gets in with some plexiglass and some waterproof silicon to seal it off.
