My wind shield cracked few weeks ago and its about 15inches....... My lease is almost over and I do not know if I have to replace with OEM or any kind? Can someone help me with this situation. Thanks.

 

I do not have much lease experience, but I THINK that with something like that they might charge you a little bit when you return the lease (I dont know which would be cheaper, replacement or the dealership charge). Hopefully some people with more lease experience will chime in to help

 

I doubt the lease requires you to replace with OEM since windshield replacements are not uncommon. Call you insurance and have it replaced at a glass shop. At most you'll only have to pay your comprehensive deductible, and in many states there is no deductible (state law).

 

u dont need oem windshield call insurance they will cover it for you no charge fi u have full coverage since its a lease you do ... its free for u
