Noise coming from what seems to be in the rear of the car?

Since I've had my car (3 weeks now) I've been hearing a noise when the clutch grabs out of first and when shifting gears when I'm driving slowly. It's almost like a bell like sound. Like two metal pendulums hitting each other. The sound comes from the rear under the car. Is that normal or would you think there is something wrong?

if it's a ping when the car starts to move forward, it is under a tsb. take it in and tell them you need your half shafts lubricated.
