Hi All,
Thought I would give a quick write up on my issues for the members. I also wanted to give a
to Nigel (service manager) @ Herb Chambers for answering my questions and concerns and not treating me like a defendant in a court case.
Issues I had:
chirp noise
throwout bearing noise
auto adjust windows not working
muffler rattle
replacing the shifter plate per body shop damage
All of this was done but I can't pick up the car until tommorow because they are still waiting on the parts for the window. It was the switch or motor but they are unsure until they perform the swap. As far as the clutch goes he mentioned to keep in touch with him and he would investigate it more as needed. I sent him the info from the member who actually got a new clutch and he said to wait a while and maybe they would do something later on. He compared it to other coupes on the lot and said they all sound the same but he would escalate it if I would like. At this point I'm going to leave it be as many others have mentioned it being a noisy two piece flywheel. Correct me if I'm wrong though!
PS I got a G35X for a loaner and I honestly didn't really like it. Felt much bigger, heavier, relatively underpowered for my liking, but overall a nice car. I wanted a G35 b/c some memebers said it felt faster but I'll have to wait for the next service call. Before I dropped the car of for service I took an on and off ramp at about 80 and can't see how an X could take it much faster. That left a
for quite a while. Also the G35 sounds awful inside, the 37 is much better.
