Use a small flat head screw driver to rotate the gear, I don't remember the direction to rise but if your doing the adjustment in the dark with the head lights on you will soon know if you are going the right way. Be very slow as a little gives you a lot, I hope this helps.

Awesome pics. I find a medium/large head phillips will turn the gear perfectly as it bites into it.

 

Great idea, the phillips does sound like it would work even better.

 

aim is best at 25feet away from the wall and your light beam (cutoff) should be around 2 inches below the line paralleled to the ground.

ie. if your projector is at 2 feet off the ground, the beam is paralleled to the ground when it's at 2 feet. Aim the beam at 1 foot 10 inches high.

If you've lowered your car, you might get away with closer to horizon settings, but never aim them so it's at an incline as it will blind others at a distance.

gonna adjust mine tomorrow... mine are WAY to low after i lowered my car

 

use a philips head not a flat head for the adjusting screw. it's meant to fit in the grooves with a philips.

Thanks for all the info.! Coming from an STI with an easy-to-adjust headlight-level **** on the dash, I was kinda annoyed that I have to go through all of this work just to raise the level a little bit.
