Rearview Window Power

Hi guys,

Does anyone know what the difference between the three cables on the rearview mirror?

I know there is a black, green and a brown cable.

Which is ground? Which is the 12v?

BAT is pin 10 and gr wire, assuming ground is black, but, best if U check with a meter to be sure. Using invisicord for a detector? With plug disconnected, 10 little rectangles and 3 wires, brown, green and black?

22 pin at the mirror itself? manual shows it to be R3 connector, 10 pin, and BAT on the gr wire, brown is ignition and black being ground.

Yes, brown switched 12v and Black is ground. I know this for sure, because I just installed my invisicord.

How difficult was it to gain access to the wires in back of the rearview mirror?

Real men don't need voltmeters, we use our tongues.

Plug is easy to unplug, flip mirror down, push tab on connector, pull out. Black is ground, brown is switched +12. The G37 connector is harder to get the invisicord pins to insert, try all 4 sides of the square hole. My GND went in the bottom side, the +12v went in from the side-side, or top, can't remember.
