Rear Brakes

Hey all, it has been awhile since I last posted. I have a 2009 G37x that I have had for over 13 years with 156,000 miles. Has been a great car and I always thought the engineering was great, until I tried replacing the rear brake pads (I had replace about 10 years ago, so I don't remember this), but you cannot remove the lower caliper bolt without removing the caliper bracket, as the bolt hits the rear suspension. You have to remove the caliper bracket to remove the caliper bolt. I have done at least 40 rear brakes (on different cars of course) and have never run into this. Just venting my frustrations, still love the car.
