G37X Rear caliper Bracket. Issue removing lower bolt

I'm talking about the two 19mm that hold the caliper bracket in place. Not the 14mm that hold the caliper to the bracket.

The top 19mm is easy to take off, however the bottom, I can't fit a socket there because there's a silver arm thingy there. It looks like a lower control arm? I tried using a 19mm wrench but I still can't get it to move even after dousing it for some time with a PB blaster.

Question is, can I remove the lower arm? is it hard? The bolts holding it in place look quite heavy duty and I don't have an impact wrench or any air gun to remove them if I could. Any ideas? I need to change the rear rotors.

I went ghetto and used a floor jack against my ratchet to break it loose, hopefully you have room to get a socket on it.

This is ghetto? I use this trick all the time, although I substitute a wrench instead of a ratchet.

I never thought using a jack... that's a good idea. I usually just smack the wrench with a hammer.

I just remove the bolt of the arm and push it aside and then remove the caliper.

I think everything suggested above works...OP you could also slip a piper over the wrench and yank on it that way...I use the handle from my harbor freight jack

Thanks all. God a long 19mm ratch wrench and it did the job wonderfully. Did both rear rotors yesterday and surprisingly enough they came out by hand without any issues. They were the original rotors too. The fronts were a pain to remove. Seems like my experience is almost backwards to everyone elses!

Mine was terrible. Took hours to do them everything was so rusted and seized. I did a piece of pipe over a wrench for those bolts for what it's worth.
