How to adjust headlights, and how do I replace this seal?

Hi all, so I tried to adjust my headlights and broke the plastic cover piece around the adjustment bolts, and went to adjust them, but honestly saw very little difference afterwards. I realized I actually don't know which direction whether tightening or loosening (when facing the head of the bolt, the same direction as when driving) raised or lowered it. Can anyone who's adjusted these tell me whether tightening vs loosening raises or lowers the headlight adjustment, and whether or not it's the same direction on driver & passenger side?

On another note, this seal is barely hanging on and is flapping in the wind at speed. Rear driver side door, it's between the window and the outside portion of the door, and inside the window channel. Anyone know if it's replaceable? PN or name? It seems like it's not the weather seal that goes around the top and sides.

Found this thread over on the reddit thing which appears to have DIY instructions and part numbers. Just be warned, US prices for these strips are ridiculously overpriced. When I have to replace rubber components on my Coupe I get them from overseas, much cheaper (even with international shipping).

ILM, you are the most amazing person ever. I've looked at the parts diagram so much last night and always thought that was on the TOP of the door

That is called the belt molding. I had to replace all four of mine because they cracked from the Florida heat. IMO not a reusable part. The below thread will help with the removal/install. If memory serves me correctly, you have to remove the side mirrors for the fronts. The rears were pretty easy.

Here's a link to one of them from Concept Z Performance which should get you on the right track depending on which ones you want to replace:

Good luck.
