Misfire after Battery removal

I’m just trying to clarify something before I move on to the Gallery gasket job that I planned on starting today. Yesterday I brought my kids 2009 G37X sedan in the garage to clean out the cowl area of debris (He mentioned a couple weeks back that he had water coming through the glove box after the car wash). I also noticed debris down and around the battery stand so I disconnected the battery (couldn’t remove the stand without drilling out the rusted bolts)and removed it for about an hour while I used a shop vac and air compressor to clean good around and under it. After I was done I took it back outside and today it started fine but after letting it warm up for a few minutes I went to bring it in and started misfiring and running rough. Put scanner on it and got a misfire cylinder 1, Turned it off checked a couple obvious things, restarted and this time got a random misfire. Subsequent checks have no CEL no misfire on the live data but running just as poorly. While looking up this issue I saw info about resetting the ECU (pedal dance). Now I’m wondering if that’s something that needs to be done after disconnecting the battery or only after mods. It’s quite possibly just another side effect of the gaskets and low oil pressure but it seems like a strange coincidence since it ran fine before the battery was removed. Only other previous code was for the low oil pressure (pressure test showed 6 at idle 29 at 2500 rpm). Also was very careful with disconnecting and connecting, cover terminals with rags, no arcing or shorting. Thanks for your time.
