Got the dreaded steering lock issue - how to remove panel to access?

I have a 2011 G25 Journey that seems to have the common steering lock issue where the intelligent key warning light stays on with the car off, the key fob works, doors lock and unlock, etc but I cannot get the car to turn on. I've tried hitting the steering wheel lock assembly while trying to start the car, holding the fob against the start button while trying to turn it on and that didn't work. So I would like to follow the instructions in the below video where he pushes in the locking tab to be able to the start the car and then pull the 10A fuse. However, I'm not sure how to gain access to the steering wheel lock assembly. I believe I need to remove the panel beneath the steering wheel but I'm not sure how to do so. Is there a video or tech sheet that shows how to do so?
