Burning oil smell

Why does my 2013 g37 sedan with 171,000 miles have a burning oil smell? But I never lose any oil between oil changes. I also change my oil every 2500 miles and I just did my valve covers/gaskets less then 500 miles ago. I have zero leaks anywhere in my engine bay I just don’t understand it. I am ported upper and lower with 2.5in intakes and have a y pipe and single exit and I’m tuned so with all that is it because I just have so much going on with a high mileage engine. Is it something I should be concerned about? Or should I just let it be I’ve noticed it getting a little worse over time but very slowly and I always make sure my cars up to temp so it just hurts my head lol.

So based on my own experience, I thought I was getting burnt oil smell, it turned out to be a small exhaust leak from one of the y-pipe gaskets.
But honestly, it can be so many little things. A few drops splash down when replacing oil, maybe a bad PCV valve. Really hard to chase this gremlin.
Hard to say if it will help, but a catch can never hurts.

Is the catch can a closed loop or do you have a vented one? If its vented, that could explain it, but again, just taking blind shots at this point.
