Instrument Cluster and Climate Controls not working
Ok boys and girls, here is my problem and story. I removed a subwoofer wiring component and now have several lights on the dash and my climate controls do not work. (Stereo works) The airbag is also flashing.
what was done: remove climate panel, Led display and partily pulled out radio to remove splitter. (RCA output for sub) reinstalled everything and after starting car, light on the dash. When driving, no rpm, gas, temp, speed, but panel lights up. When turning off the car, the dash goes out and comes back a few seconds later with the engine not turning off. (Pressing the button 3 times does the trick) Looks like these connecrors are not installed to anything. Maybe I have used the spare nav connectors and thats what the communication error is?
Please note, this car does not have navigation.
AutoZone scan: U0164 Can Communication Error
Suguest: Reset ECM.
I checked the fuses and all look good. Checked for water in passenger side under glove box, bone dry.
I tried starting the car with the front climate panel off thinking it might be bad, but same dash light issue.
Any ideas before I have someone test the ECM?

Make sure the Unified Meter and AC Amp- the white plastic box mounted atop the AV headunit is plugged in correctly. Notice the YELLOW TAPE in the following pictures:
It is very easy to mix these connectors up with those that plug into the AV headunit.
