Big Brake Upgrade Help

Hey guys,

I was looking through the threads but couldn't find any information on the mounting bolts I'll need for the big brakes. Can I use the bolts from the non-sport caliper? If not, does anyone have sizes or part numbers for the bolts?

Thanks in advance!

If you’re just using the akebonos then they bolt up. You have to either trim or remove the dust shield as the bigger rotors won’t clear the oem shield. You need shorter banjo bolts. The non sport ones that come on non sports are too long

The front calipers use a special blue bolt: 41005-1MD0A (You will need 4X for the front). You can reuse the original, but it will take a different torque spec. Blue bolt: 91 ft/lbs, original bolt and washer: 98 ft/lbs.

For the rear I reused my original floating caliper bolts as it uses the same: 08044-2351A (bolt), 01311-01251 (washer). Rear bolt torque spec: 62 ft/lbs.
