Exclamation Help with Parking brake

Hey guys I'm about to upgrade from the non sport brakes on my g37x sedan to the akebonos bbk. Does anyone know if the parking brakes ( lower left side above the footrest) is the same for the akebonos? I usually park on a decline so I use the parking brakes all the time. If they are different will I need different pads or is there also hardware I need to change as well?

Yes it's the same. Your parking brake is completely separate from your other brakes. The parking brake shoe resides inside the rear brake rotor. No need for anything additional.

You bet. I learned the hard way when I tried to fit new rotors on my FX. The parking brake shoe cutout diameter is larger than that of my G.
