As the title says. I have a 2009 g37x sedan with the Tech package. It has the sonar cruise control and AFS lighting. I plan on doing a front end conversion to the 2010+ headlights and front bumper. My question is. Do the 2010+ headlights come with AFS? If I do the swap, Will my AFS light stay on or will something else plug into its place? I do plan on getting the Gtr style lights or something similar.

Anything other than OEM AFS lights and the idiot light will come on. There is no "emulator" to disable the light.

 

damn. I’ll have to put that conversion on hold till I figure out what to do with that darn light. I’d rather keep the current front end than have a light blink on my dashboard that would drive me nuts.

 

Just like @ILM-NC G37S said. AFS folks are limited to their years. AFS was dropped with the 2010+ fascia change and it's what has kept many members from doing the conversion.
