Is the AFS OFF light on the dash coming on/ flashing?
Does the AFS switch light up/ do anything?
Did you check fuses? Codes?
Was any work done to the car recently/ front end?

It could be a fuse, wiring, or mechanical issue.

You have to give us something to go on... else we are all flying blind...

Hello there, care to offer more context?

Have they ever worked? To my understanding adaptive headlights only came in the 2007-2009 model, the 2010+ model saw the face lift and adaptive headlights were discontinued.

Are you talking about the Bi-xenon option of the low beam?

Good catch, BULL. Car probably never had the option (unless it is Euro-spec which is unlikely).

No lights on, I haven't checked the fuses. No front end work done recently. There's a specific AFS light that would come on?

Yes the low beam portion on the BI Xenon portion. I am pretty sure this model did come with the Adaptive Lighting System.

This is not rocket science...
Do you have this switch or not?

If NO, you DO NOT have AFS. Period.

If YES, is light lit up on your speedo?

If YES, then there is a issue with the AFS system.
If NO, then likely the system is operating normally.

Have you tried reading the OWNERS MANUAL to familiarize yourself with your car and how all the bells and whistles / gizmos and gadgets work?

Follow @ILM-NC G37S comment.

If it indeed has this button then yes you have AFS (first time I would see it in a 2010+)

If not you have regular Bi-xenon headlights that these models came with.

If it's Bi-Xenon are you asking about the Bi-Xenon cut-off plate not moving at all on command or the actual light is not turning on?

The projector lens on the 2010 + will turn on with low beams and with high beams it will move/open the cut off plate forward to display more light.
