Question Lowering

Hi, im getting coil overs soon and will be putting them in in about a week. they are fully adjustable with rebound and dampening. (BC racing) I currently have 17 in rims that i do plan on increasing in size later on, but for now does anyone have suggesting's as to fitment measurements for the 17inchers. I do live in NY and were i am, i have semi ok roads, occasional potholes and stuff. I do want to lower the car so it would look more fitted and aggressive I guess, but i don't want to have to buy a new oil pan. Anyone have any ideas or can link me to some already existing threads i would greatly appreciate it, thank you. ( also i don't have a chamber kit and will probably run stock sway bars and everything else in the suspension for a bit until I get aftermarket ones. I will be taking my car to get it aligned after i have installed and lowered it though)

Welcome, prior to installing the coilovers everyone including myself will tell you to get camber arms and toe bolts.

Even with standard springs the rear suspension had a tendency of maxing out the original toe bolts. Many folks go an buy camber arms and end up finding out that the camber arms will screw up your toe. You try to adjust this now moved toe and you'll see that you can't without the bolts. If the BC are true coilovers you can utilize this to buy toe arms (get rid of the spring arm bucket)

Without the ability to adjust rear camber and toe you'll just be wearing your tires and/or be looking funky cambered in in the back. I'm only on sport springs and I had to do rear camber and toe bolts.
