Question 2010 G37s Sedan Key Fob Issues

I have a 2010 G37s Sedan, and about a month ago the dash was telling me that the batteries in both of my key fobs where dying. I replaced them and now the problem is starting all over again. I know the batteries are good. Hell, one of them hadn't even get used since I changed the batteries, but my dash is telling me tat both fobs batteries are dying. Did I miss a step when I replaced the batteries, or is there a setting in the car that I have to update manually like when I get my oil changed or something? Is anyone else experiencing this as well? Has anyone found a solution to this issue? Any help would be very much appreciated.

There's no "reset" that needs to be done on the car. I believe it just senses the battery strength and lets you know if it's low. Is it possible the batteries you used are just too old? Sometimes I think we are sold expired batteries which have been on the shelf too long. There is supposed to be a date stamped on battery packages now...

I'd try buying some new 2032s - maybe from another source - as a first move.

Keep fobs far away from the car. Don't store fobs with batteries in them. That's been my solution to extending battery life.
