2013 G37 Valve Body Swap

Recently went into limp mode and pulled error code P0725. Ordered a new output speed sensor and "remanufactured" valve body just to be sure.

After replacing both and re-filling 9.2 qts of fluid my car won't start... receiving U0101 now "can't communicate with TCM".

As far as I can tell the replacement valve body and TCM is identical to what was in the car to begin with... confident that wiring harness to TCM is hooked up cleanly and no pinched/broken wires.

So am I missing something or did the valve body unit I ordered have a faulty TCM? I've checked A/T fuses, reset ECM, shifted through P-R-N-D a few times to ensure shift position is correct (which doesn't show on the dash display by the way), charged up the battery just in case.

Does the "new" valve body need to be programmed? (they're supposed to be plug & play as per seller description.

Looking for some ideas/help... thanks in advance.

**SOLVED**

Apparently I did not check "all" the fuses. The large fusebox to the side of the battery was missed :-(. Sure enough, fuse blow, fuse replaced, and no more error codes!

No, it's in the IPDM in the engine compartment behind the battery. Here's a picture of fuse 43 (from a 2013 G):

Hi I am having this same issue with my 2012 G37x coupe. Won't shift past 3rd and getting a P0720. Where did you purchase your remanufactured valve body from?

I had that issue when my TCM went bad, new OEM one was put in and had to be programmed.
