2013 X w/ 100k mi
No noise over big bumps, just a slight hollow rattle from what sounds like the driver's side front over mildly choppy roads (think light gravel or a manhole cover)

At least that rules out struts and strut mounts. Hopefully it's something easy like a splash shield

If it is small rattles at slow speeds, then it will be the stabilizer links. You can remove it and drive it in the neighborhood to double check for that noise.

Endlinks are cheap and, at 100k, if I'm gonna make the effort to take them off, I'll just put new ones back on and see if it's problem solved. Thanks!

ive had after market links and found out the hard way, it’s best to just get the oem brand. Save yourself the time bc within a year or two, the after market links will fail

also when you tighten the end links, make sure the car is sitting on its wheels and not sitting on car jacks. The reason is you want to make sure there is no stress on these links so tighten when car is on ground (or on ramps)

Check your upper control arms. I had this issue and the ball joint was ever so slightly loose but made quite a bit of noise

Thia happened to me as well. Chased a clunk sound forever and turned out to be my UCA was a little
loose.

OP - are you getting rattle that securely sounds suspension related or is more a buzzing / gargling sound. I hate to say it, but these are assembled pretty cheap and make a zillion little noises. I think I just isolated a little rattle that I hear in rough roads and think it’s passenger side skirt. Going to detach, apply some CLD along the inside and make sure it clips and bolts back on tight.

It's a hollow rattle that sounds like it is coming from the driver's front wheel area. It's separate from the other squeeks and rattles

If it sounds like a hollow sound and not more so clicking then it could be your shock. When shocks go out it sounds like its an empty noise kinda hard to explain. Look for possibly any leaks from the shocks. But, with a bad shock you will hear pretty much at any speed when you hit a bump or travel through uneven road surface.
