John, if I had a shop that would install the CMAK down here (or had time/opportunity to do the labor myself) I would have gone that route. A throwout bearing can still fail but usually they are good for 100k +.
I just didn't have an easy way to get the car to the Navy Base auto hobby shop which looked to be the only way to get the car on a lift and have a transmission jack - and no time to do the labor. It died when I had 2 weeks full of mandatory meetings.
Otherwise - I'd recommend that over the HDCSC. But the HD is working well so far, and I'm *almost* through with break-in.

Why don't you at least purchase the replacement CSC (or is it CMC) kit so you'll have it on-hand in case yours fails unexpectedly? It's something you're going to have to face eventually, and some people have seen them fail as early as like 20k miles I believe. I know mine isn't acting quite right and mine has 44k mi.
