Front Emblem Alternative Method for Removal

I saw people take the radiator shroud off to get to the clips to remove the front emblem, or they use their middle fingers to snake around and pry the clips apart. I found a simple way to do it with a small hook tool if you can't reach with your fingers and don't want to take the radiator shroud off. Takes only a couple minutes.

Tool I used is a simple "hook pick hose removal tool". Just place it where you would use your finger to get at the clips. Does not take a lot of force to release the clips, once you get one side done, do the same for the other and the emblem will pop out.

Tool:

Also, if you got any of the paint can lid openers lying around...they work too, but otherwise, good idea, as i tried and fingers died that day lol
