Hi, I’ve done my research on the forums and haven’t found a definitive answer about this. I recently purchased Berk Test Pipes for my g37xs and I’m hearing that if I don’t tune (which I plan on doing) I’m likely to have a CEL.

i purchased the one that says O2 sensor fix. Couldn’t I combat this by reseting the ecu. I also have a Maxima and we just use the simulators.

 

I put on berks RTP before getting tuned and didn't get a cel light. Had them on for 2 weeks before tune.

 

It just depends. The O2 extension bungs are a maybe when it comes to getting rid of the CEL. If you get a CEL, they can clear it when you get tuned however. Not sure if there is a way to ignore that code somehow with tuning...

any issues passing inspection?

 

Isn't due till next year. But I kept my berks HFC just in case
