I have berk test pipes, and am throwing a CEL. is there such thing as an adaptor which is a j bung? which you can just screw into the existing hole for the 02 senor?

 

You need the straight extenders (if yours aren't already made that way, my Berks HFC are). You can buy them in many auto parts stores. You also need to place a wad of steel wool inside the adapter at the tip of the O2 sensor. After doing this with my Berks and resetting the code I have never had the light return.

 

i have a M2 y pipe coming tommorrow, i do have extenders but still throw a CEL, i will try the steel wool, thanksBB
