Advice needed - DIY Wrap on a sedan sport

Hello Y'all I've done a little bit of looking around on this forum but couldn't find much, if there is a thread already posted about this please feel free to link it in the comments below.

I own a 2011 Infinity G37S Sedan, Once I'm done paying it off, I would like to try and vinyl wrap it, I am posting this thread for advice on the easiest way to wrap the vehicle, which parts I will have to pull off?(if any, preferably not) I have no experience in wrapping vehicles but I figure why not try! You can also use this thread to post YOUR wrapped sedans. Hopefully inspiring others to build up the courage to wrap theres, and see all the options of wrap out their,

TL,DR. Looking for advice on how to wrap a g37s sedan, without having to take off to many parts. also show off your wrapped sedans too!

If it's your first time, then you will have a lot of trial and errors because it will not be perfect the first few times. You'd need to remove the side skirt spats and the rear spats, also the chrome trunk piece, possibly the badges too unless you're precise with knives, and you'd most likely need to disassemble the side mirrors and remove the antenna fin. Parking sensors too? Remove the bumper. It's not easy wrapping if it's your first time and for a lovely possession.

Damnn, probably better off paying the fee to have it done professionally then huh?

It is expensive for a whole car wrap though, depending on where you live. For an older Infiniti, it may not be worth it but that is up to you to decide. I paid near $4k for a really nice job with a high gloss product.

$4000 for a wrap job? I never knew they were that expensive. And the wraps last only a couple years correct? For that amount I would personally get a paint job instead.

The vehicles look good with just their fairly easy center-strips wrapped.

Go price out a good paint job and you'll see why people do wraps.

I had good full paint jobs before and spent less. And it was a good paint job. Unless inflation hit the paint market, I got quoted $3500 by a highly rated shop for a repaint of my black 7 series.

I live in Canada, something that affects my mind of paying a big amount of money is due to snow and worry about causing damage when scrapping snow off the car, any thoughts?

I have thought ...Don't ever scrape anything off your car.....ever. Treat your paint like a peeled grape. Certainly skip wrapping the car if it is not garage kept.

Was that to repaint a black car black? A good paint job to change the colour of a car here is going to cost twice what a wrap does.

100% wrong. Legally and for the sake of everyone else on the road, you clear your entire vehicle of snow. You're objectively a terrible person if you don't and you live here. Facts from a Canadian. You're not using the scraper on your paint, but you are using the brush end to clear the snow off all painted surfaces, sometimes more than once a day living here.

Yes, but a different shade and with no metallic. I do not need my door jambs, engine bay, trunk jamb repainted. It is also going to be oil-based paint instead of water-based paint (water based is expensive). I can already imagine the work/money needed to get a complete job done.

Facts from a Canadian Hahahahaha . You are 100% incorrect. YOU DON'T EVER SCRAPE ANYTHING OFF YOUR CAR. Removing snow and scraping are two different things. If your snow removal device in 2021 still has a brush at one end you need to wake up and invest in a new tool for the process .
