I have an aftermarket y pipe to a 3inch outlet and an axle back which is 2.5inch piping, however I still have the stock mid pipe and I've heard it is the most restrictive part of the car I believe 1.75 inlet each? Basically my goal is to get a custom mid pipe.
There's a 300$ price difference between resonated and non resonated custom mid pipe. Since I already have resonators on my Y-pipe is that enough to get rid of that nasty drone/rasp.
I was looking at the Stillen catback exhaust and thought I could do something similar to that, where it's basically just a y- pipe attached to the mid pipe all the way back. However their resonators are placed on the mid pipe.
Basically just asking if I should get resonators on my mid pipe or not, (since I have resonators on y pipe. If it is not a massive difference in sound and/or you guys think the y pipe resonators would be enough please let me know.
