Transmission engagement/ disengagement click

Been trying to find an answer for a while but I can't find anything. I just got a 2012 Infiniti G37s sedan and I've noticed what almost sounds like a relay click coming from under the car when press the gas while rolling, let off the gas while rolling, and right before I come to a stop. It sounds like it has something to do with the transmission engaging or disengaging but the sound is the same no matter the situation. Can't find anything about this, only thing that was similar had to do with the rear axles when shifting from Park to reverse or reverse to drive. If anybody has had this issue or knows anything about it please let me know.

How many miles are on it? When I had my 2010 G37x coupe, it had the same thing, but it has over 200k miles. I replaced both front and rear drive shafts cause the front one's U-joint was about to fall apart and figured it wouldn't hurt to replace the rear as well. After all that, the car still "clicked" anytime I engaged or disengaged the drivetrain. I checked all the axleshafts, but they were all good. Checked the diffs and transfer case... Nothing. I have no clue man, but if you find out what's going on with yours, definitely share. I think this is one of those things that's more common than people realize because hardly anyone talks about it.

I think it's normal. 2013 G37x 94.5k miles does the same thing. One time I had a jolt during clicks but it only happened once and lasted less than one minute. Probably an electronics glitch. Don't worry about it.

When's the last time the fluids were changed - front diff, rear diff, transfer case?

Might be worth considering

That's the rear axles clicking. It happens while driving also. I fixed mine myself but if money is no issue the dealer will charge about 2 hours labor. Just have someone shift from drive and reverse and hold your ears next to the rear wheels. https://infinitig37.com/TSB/ITB13-008.pdf

115,000 miles. Happens to mine when placing a load on the car, especially from cold start. Axel grease at hub sounds like a reasonable reason for the "click."
